On 26.1.2023 the BCI in Klön invited to a New Year’s reception in the Wappensaal of the Brauhaus FRÜH. Our notable president Pia Kollmar and our notable friend Larsen Lüngen welcomed some notable members from the region NRW & Rheinland Pfalz as well as some guests around the topic beer and BCI.

Within the framework of a Kölsch brewery menu, reports were given on the last friendship meeting in Vienna as well as on the plans for the planned meeting in Florence. In addition to an agile meeting of notable members and the guests, the reception was accompanied by an entertaining lecture by the Chairman of the Board of Volksbank Mönchengladbach e.G. Mr. Franz D. Meurers, on the current topic of “ATM blasting from the perspective of an affected bank”.

We hope that the New Year’s Reception will form a basis for reactivating the NRW, Rhineland-Palatinate and Lower Saxony Chapter. A next date for a casual exchange is planned in the autumn in the Münster area.
