Interesting start of the year of the BCI-BaWü Chapter at the Biersomeliere Vannes Pantodis in Ludwigsburg.
On Monday evening, experienced beer drinkers from the ranks of the BCI and interested no less experienced, met for our first event in 2023 in the Bierothek and Tasting Location #hoparoundtheworld25. We started with an interesting aperitif, a raspberry-flavored sour beer, before moving on to the expertly moderated tasting of six selected beers. The first thing that caught our attention in the evening was the information that the Pilsner had been pushed off the beer throne of Germany by the “Helle” after decades of dominance. So what better way to start our beer tasting than with an innovative pale ale.
This was followed by a Pale Ale, which convinced especially the ladies present. No decent alcohol enjoyment without an optimal basis. Our notable friend Albert Schneider, #der_metzger_schneider, who spoiled us with his Vesper specialties, took care of that this evening. Then came four more beers whereby we would like to highlight the last, a Tripel belongs to the Belgian beers and is a light strong beer, it is a true “women’s beer” the producing brewery is firmly and exclusively in women’s hands, which is actually almost a novelty in the brewery country. In his farewell, the Provincial Consul Christian Köhle thanked on behalf of #bierconventinternational our great presenter Vanessa and gave those present a preview of the next 2 events. In summary, it was an entertaining and very interesting evening in which the socializing did not come too short.
